CAREERS: The Next Generation

CAREERS: The Next Generation is an industry-driven public/private partnership dedicated to the career development of Alberta'a youth.

CAREERS is a catalyst bringing together industry, educators, governement, communities, and students to meet the inter-dependent needs of youth employability and skilled labour shortages.

CAREERS' programs in Trades and Technologies and in Health Services are promoted to students in the Wood Buffalo Region through a strong partnership with the Community Careers Cooperative.

Alberta Employment, Immigration and Industry

AEII has been a supporter of career development in the region for many years. They support out high schools career programs and special events projects hosted each year.

Youth Connections

Youth Connections has a strong partnership with Community Careers Cooperative to deliver workshops to prepare studens for work placements. Employers often comment on how well prepared our students are for their interview and internship experience.

Keyano College

Community Careers Cooperative partners with Keyano College to host our annual special events. Keyano college provides instructor's time, shop space, activity materials and assistance with prep work for special events. Keyano Colleges on-going support includes office space and communication assistance.
